CASE 1, BALDWIN WALLACE 1, 2OT...
CLEVELAND, OH (September 25, 2004) - Case and Baldwin Wallace played to a 1-1 this evening at Baldwin Wallace's Finnie Stadium.
Case, now 3-3-2 on the season, went down 1-0 in the 37th minute on a Baldwin Wallace goal from Emily Roll. However, the Spartans bounced back in the second half when Maggie Zbiegien (Mayfield Village, OH) knocked in her first collegiate goal to tie the game. The goal came in the 47th minute off the assist from Amanda Dellens (Ramona, CA).
Jean Enge-Janes (Mattawan, MI) as usual played the first half with Lauren Gaeta (Parkton, MD) playing the remainder of the game making five saves.
Neither the Spartans nor the Yellow Jackets could score the rest of the way out and the game ended in a 1-1 tie.
Case will face another local rival on Wednesday, September 29th when they travel to John Carroll to face the Blue Streaks in a 4:00 p.m. match.
