ALL-OHIO CHAMPIONSHIPS OVER...
DELAWARE, OH (October 7, 2005) - The Case Western Reserve University women's cross country team placed fourth out of 20 Division III schools this evening at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University. The Spartans finished the day with 121 points compared to the winner Denison University 's 69.
Case had three female runners place in the top 25 led by sophomore Esther Erb (Richmond, VA). Erb finished seventh with a time of 19:42.3, freshman Kristen Bowhers (Rochester, NY) placed 10th (19:37.5) and freshman Lauren von Eckartsberg (Dublin, OH) finished 24th (20:05.4).
The Spartans will host a tri-meet next Saturday with Hiram College, John Carroll University and Notre Dame College .
