GOOD FINISH AT WOOSTER ...
CLEVELAND , OH (September 25, 2004) -The Case Western Reserve University women's cross country team finished with 61 points good enough for a second place tie with Wooster at the five team Wooster Invitational. Ashland University, a Division II school, took home first place in the meet held in Wooster, Ohio.
On a difficult course, the Spartans were led by senior Amy Staub (Oil City, PA) and junior Alison Donnelly (Grand Island, NY) who finished eighth and ninth respectively with times of 19:50 for Staub and 19:51 for Donnelly. Other top finishers for Case were Stephanie Nothelle (Porter, IN) who came in 14th (20:32) and Lauren Donnelly who finished 17th (21:00).
The women will travel to Chicago next weekend for the Loyola Invitational on Saturday, October 2nd for an 11:00 a.m. (CST) meet.
