CLEVELAND, OH (October 27, 2007) - The Case Western Reserve University volleyball team lost to Hiram College 3-0 (13-30, 22-30, and 25-30) at the Oberlin College Tri-Match in Oberlin, Ohio.
Case Western Reserve falls to 13-16 (3-4 UAA) on the season, while Hiram escalades to 26-4.
Leading the Spartan attack was freshman outside hitter Beth Karpinski (Avon Lake, OH) with 10 kills and 16 digs. Junior Julie Schaefer (Independence, OH-pictured) also double-doubled with 13 assists and 10 digs.
The Spartans take on Oberlin College at 4:00 p.m. today for the final series of the Tri-Match.
