CLEVELAND, OH (October 24, 2007) - The Case Western Reserve University volleyball team was defeated by Ursuline College 3-0 (30-27, 30-26, 30-19) in a non-conference showdown in Pepper Pike, Ohio.
The Spartans fall to 13-15 (3-4 UAA) on the season, while the Arrows rise to 16-16.
Leading the Spartan attack was sophomore middle blocker S.K. Piper (Portage, MI) with nine kills and 10 digs. Freshman outside hitter Beth Karpinski (Avon Lake, OH-pictured) added nine kills and 18 digs and sophomore libero Andrea Lamont (Columbia, MD) had 15 digs.
Case Western Reserve travels to the Oberlin College Tri-Match this Saturday for matches against Hiram College at 2:00 p.m. and Oberlin College at 4:00 p.m.
