OHIO WESLEYAN 3, CASE 1...
CLEVELAND, OH (October 6, 2007) - The Case Western Reserve University volleyball team was defeated by Ohio Wesleyan 3-1 (24-30, 30-23, 21-30, 29-31) in a non-conference tri-match hosted by Allegheny College.
Case falls to 9-12 (1-2) on the year as the Bishops escalade to 10-12.
 Sophomore middle blocker S.K. Piper (Portage, MI) led the Spartans with 17 kills. Freshman outside hitter Beth Karpinski (Avon Lake, OH) added 14 kills and junior middle blocker Miranda Lange (South Euclid, OH-pictured) contributed nine kills. Sophomore libero Andrea Lamont (Columbia, MD) had 27 digs for the Spartans.
The Spartans face host Allegheny College in match two of the tri-match at 6:00 p.m.
