CLEVELAND, OH (September 8, 2007) -
The Case Western Reserve University volleyball team was shut out by Saint Vincent College 3-0 (14-30, 25-30, 27-30) in match two of the 10th annual Maria French Memorial tournament hosted by Baldwin Wallace.
The loss drops the Spartans to 2-4 while Saint Vincent rises to 4-1.
Marvelous efforts were made by sophomore middle hitter S.K. Piper (Portage, MI - pictured) who had 12 kills.
The Spartans start day two of the tournament tomorrow beginning at noon against La Roche (PA).
