CLEVELAND, OH (September 1, 2007) -
Freshman outside hitter Anne Murphy (Dayton, OH-pictured) led Case Western Reserve University with 21 digs in a 3-1 (30-24, 24-30, 30-28, 30-28) loss to Westminster College at Mount Union College’s Purple Raider Volleyball Invitational in Alliance, Ohio.
Sophomore middle blocker S.K. Piper (Portage, MI) and freshman outside hitter Beth Karpinski (Avon Lake, OH) added 14 and 12 kills, respectively.
Case will face Geneva College in its last match at Mount Union.
