Case Western Reserve University freshman libero Andrea Lamont-pictured (Columbia, MD) recorded a team high 25 digs and sophomore outside hitter Miranda Lange (South Euclid, OH) added 22 digs as the Spartans fell to Carnegie Mellon University 3-1 (29-31, 30-13, 30-27, 30-11) at the 2006 University Athletic Association Championship in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
 Case (12-23, 1-8 UAA) sophomore middle hitter Colleen Martin (Rocky River, OH) led the team in kills with 10. The Spartans face the University of Rochester at 7:00 p.m.
