CLEVELAND, OH (September 30, 2006) -
Case Western Reserve University freshman outside hitter S.K. Piper (Portage, MI-pictured) had eight kills in the Spartans 3-0 (30-21, 30-19, 30-22) loss to number 15-ranked New York University in their University Athletic Association finale at Emory University.
Case freshman setter/right side hitter Andrea Lamont (Columbia, MD) also had 17 digs against New York (18-3, 2-1 UAA). The Spartans (7-14, 0-3 UAA) will next host Ursuline College Wednesday night at the Veale Center (7:00 p.m.).
