CLEVELAND, OH (September 23, 2006) -
Case Western Reserve University defeated host Waynesburg College 3-2 (30-24, 18-30, 19-30, 30-24, 15-12) in their first match on Saturday morning at the Waynesburg Tournament.
Freshman outside hitter S.K. Piper (Portage, MI-pictured) had 24 kills and 24 digs to lead the Spartans. Sophomore setter Julie Schaefer (Independence, OH) added 52 assists in the match.
