CLEVELAND, OH (September 9, 2006) - The Case Western Reserve University women’s volleyball team lost 3-0 (17-30, 21-30, 21-30) to Allegheny College today in the fifth place match of the ninth annual Marcia French Memorial Tournament at Baldwin Wallace College.
Case sophomore outside hitter Elise Snell (Valparaiso, IN - pictured) had six kills and junior middle hitter Julianna Burrows (Grosse Pointe Farms, MI) 13 digs for the Spartans, who recorded 57 digs as a team.
Case will travel back to Baldwin Wallace on September 13 for a 7:00 p.m. match.
