CLEVELAND, OH (September 9, 2006) - The Case Western Reserve University women’s volleyball team won their first match of the season this afternoon 3-1 (30-27,30-21,23-30,30-24) over Lake Erie College at the ninth annual Marcia French Memorial Tournament hosted by Baldwin Wallace College.
Case sophomore outside hitter Elise Snell (Valparaiso, IN) had 14 kills and junior middle hitter Julianna Burrows (Grosse Pointe Farms, MI - pictured) 19 digs for the Spartans, who recorded 73 digs as a team.
