JOHN CARROLL 3, CASE 1...
CLEVELAND, OH (September 8, 2006) - The Case Western Reserve University women’s volleyball team won their first game (30-22) against John Carroll University, but dropped the next three (19-30, 25-30, 28-30) to finish the day 0-2 at Baldwin Wallace College's ninth annual Marcia French Memorial Tournament.
Case sophomore middle hitter Colleen Martin (Rocky River, OH) had 15 kills and sophomore setter Julie Schaefer (Independence, OH - pictured) 43 assists to lead the offense. Spartan freshman setter/rightside hitter Andrea Lamont (Columbia, MD) tallied 19 digs.
Case will face Lake Erie College tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m.
