CASE TOURNAMENT ...
CLEVELAND, OH (September 17, 2005) - Case senior Heather Nappi (Ashtabula, OH) was named to the All-Tournament team as the Spartans hosted the Case Tournament at the Veale Center this weekend.
The Spartans lost both of their matches on Friday night. Case was defeated by Washington & Jefferson
30-21, 27-30, 30-27, 30-20 and then by Carnegie Mellon
30-13, 30-19, 30-21.
In Saturday's action, the Spartans lost their opening match to Urbana
30-24, 30-18, 30-27. Their final match of the tournament was against local rival John Carroll University. Case battled the Blue Streaks to the end as the Spartans were defeated
30-13, 31-29, 22-30, 27-30, 19-17.
The Spartans will return to action next weekend when they participate in the Wittenberg Tournament.
