JOHN CARROLL 3, CASE 1...
CLEVELAND , OH (September 29, 2004) - The Case women's volleyball team lost to local rival John Carroll 3-1 (42-40, 15-30, 23-30, 23-30) this evening.
The Spartans will next travel to Pittsburgh this weekend to take part in the UAA Round Robin at Carnergie Mellon. The two-day tournament is the first of two round robin tournaments before the UAA Championships at Emory the weekend of November 5-6.
Case's first match is Saturday at 12:30 p.m. against the University of Rochester. Sunday, the Spartans will face host Carnegie Mellon at 9:00 a.m. and New York University at 11:30 a.m.
