CLEVELAND , OH (September 11, 2004) -The Case women's volleyball team was in action on Friday night in the Baldwin-Wallace Marcia French Tournament. In their first match, Case took on another Cleveland area school in the Bluestreaks of John Carroll University. Case fell to JCU 22-30, 26-30, 22-30. In the night cap, the Spartans fell to Capital University by scores of 24-30, 26-30, 16-30.
Saturday, the Spartans lost to Kalamazoo College in their final pool play match of the tournament 21-30, 30-18, 30-29, 16-30, 13-15. In their final match, Case defeated Kenyon College 30-22, 31-29, 30-22 to finish in seventh place in the Baldwin Wallace Tournament. The Spartans will be back at Baldwin Wallace again Wednesday, September 15th for a match against the Yellow Jackets at 7:00 pm.
