CLEVELAND , OH (September 5, 2004) - The Case women's volleyball team began their 2004 season on the road at the Mount Union College Invitational. The Spartans lost 30-26, 30-28, 19-30, 30-23 to Hiram College in match one and bounced back to defeat Siena Heights 30-24, 18-30, 30-19, 30-21 in match two.
On Saturday Case began the day with a loss to Defiance College 30-25, 32-20 and 30-13. However, the Spartans bounced back to take fifth place in the tournament by beating Allegheny College 28-30, 30-22, 30-22, 30-23, 23-30, 15-10. Next up for the Case volleyball team is the Baldwin Wallace tournament beginning Friday, September 10th.
