CLEVELAND, OH (September 15, 2007) -
Case Western Reserve University senior goalkeeper Chad Skidmore (Centerville, OH) recorded his fourth consecutive shutout as the third-ranked Spartans defeated Tri-State University 2-0 on the road. 
Case Western Reserve improved to 5-0 on the year while Tri-State dropped to 0-5. The Spartans host Oberlin College September 19 at Case Field at 7:30 p.m.
The Spartans’ defense allowed just two shots on goal and Skidmore had a save in his fifth victory of the year.
Case Western Reserve freshman midfielder/forward Jordan Fox (Bexley, OH) put the Spartans up 1-0 in the 44th minute with his first collegiate goal and junior midfielder Justin Steggerda (Johnston, IA) added an insurance goal in the 49th minute. Case Western Reserve sophomore midfielder Pranav Lohitsa (West Bloomfield, MI) received the assist on both goals.
