CLEVELAND, OH (September 23, 2006) -
The Case Western Reserve University men's soccer team defeated Heidelberg College 4-0 tonight at Case Field to stay undefeated and improve to 7-0-1. The Spartans looked outstanding tonight, both offensively and defensively. Case's defensive starters, sophomore Zeyad Schwen (Cincinnati, OH), senior Scott Christensen (Rochester, NY), junior Neal Duryea (Cheswick, PA), senior Greg Gasbarro (Hudson, OH-pictured), and senior Noah Marciniak (Dayton, OH) swarmed to the ball every time it made it over midfield.
 On the other end the field, Case continued to do what it has done all season, score goals. Sophomore Nate Hoffman (Wilmington , DE), sophomore Kevin Bigart (Naperville, IL), sophomore Matt Paglia (Pittsburgh , PA), and sophomore Justin Steggerda (Johnston, IA) all helped the ball find it way into the back of the net. The Spartans have outscored their opponents 22-1 and have not allowed a goal in the past six games.
Case will play the College of Wooster at Case Field September 26 at 7:30 p.m.
