CLEVELAND, OH (September 16, 2006) -
The Case Western Reserve University men's soccer team defeated Tri-State University 4-0 today at Case Field.
Freshman midfielder Jordan Cottington (Shaker Heights, OH-pictured ) had a foot in three of the four goals. Jordan scored the first goal of the day at the 26:57 mark. Cottington then had an assist on the second goal scored by sophomore forward RJ French (Zionsville, IN) at 59:19, and combined with sophomore forward Matt Paglia (Pittsburgh, PA) to assist on the final score by freshman midfielder Brian Evans (Bartlett, TN) 87:48. Sophomore forward Kevin Bigart (Naperville, IL) scored an unassisted goal at 73:37. 
The Spartans are undefeated this year (5-0-1) and have not allowed a goal in the last four games. In fact, they have only allowed one goal all season.
Case will face Capital at Case Field on September 20 at 5:00 p.m.
