CLEVELAND, OH (September 14, 2006) -
The Case Western Reserve University men's soccer team played a marathon game tonight on the road against Oberlin College. The game spanned two overtime periods and ended in a 0-0 tie.
Junior goalkeeper Chad Skidmore (Centerville, OH-pictured) and the Spartan defense rose to the occasion, holding Oberlin scoreless to preserve the tie. Skidmore had five saves in the game as Oberlin had 13 shots and Case 15. 
The Spartans remain unbeaten on the season. Case's record is now 4-0-1 and they have not allowed a goal in their last three games. They face Tri-State University at home on September 16 at 2:00 p.m.
