CLEVELAND, OH (September 10, 2006) -
The Case Western Reserve University men's soccer team defeated Myers University 7-0 at Case Field today to improve to 4-0. Coach Dan Palmer's Spartans really filled up the stat sheet. Five players scored goals and five more tallied assists. Sophomore midfielder Matt Paglia (Pittsburgh, PA-pictured)
had four assists and one goal, while sophomore forwards Kevin Bigart (Naperville, IL) and RJ French (Zionsville, IN) scored two goals a piece. French also added three assists.
It truly was a team effort as goalkeepers, sophomore Conrad Karasek (Prospect Hts., IL) and junior Jon Milan (Westlake, OH), each kept the Mustangs scoreless for a half.
The Spartans will look to keep up their winning ways in their next game September 14 at 5:00 p.m. at Oberlin College.
