CLEVELAND, OH (September 3, 2006) -
The Case Western Reserve University men's soccer team improved their record to 2-0 this afternoon with a 3-1 win over Wabash College at the Wabash/DePauw Soccer Classic in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
Sophomore midfielder/forward Matt Paglia (Pittsburgh, PA) - pictured led the way for the Spartans with two goals. Paglia put Case up 2-0 with two straight scores at 13:25 and 30:43. Then Spartan sophomore forward Kevin Bigart (Naperville, IL) made it 3-0 Case with a goal at the 56:25 mark. Spartan sophomore midfielder Justin Steggerda (Johnston, IA) added two assists in the game.
Case will host Seton Hill University this Wednesday at Case Field (7:30 p.m.).
