MEN'S SOCCER—2005


GREENSBURG, PA (September 6, 2005) - The Case Western Reserve men's soccer team suffered their first defeat of the season as they fell to Seton Hill University 2-0 this evening. The Spartans move to 2-1 on the season while the Griffins improve to 3-1-1.

Seton Hill scored both of their goals in the first half with Daryl Ferguson notching the first in the 13th minute and Andrew Skvarca scoring the second goal at the 35th minute. Case senior goalkeeper Chad Skidmore (Centerville, OH) recorded two saves in the loss as the Spartans were out-shot 6-4.

Case will look to get back on the winning side when they travel to Meadville, PA to take on Allegeheny College this Friday at 5:00 p.m.
