CLEVELAND, OH (October 31, 2004) - The Case men's soccer team claimed a huge 1-0 overtime victory over Washington University this afternoon.
The Spartans played gritty all afternoon and the results paid off in the first overtime period. Eric Gushurst (Portage, MI) crossed a ball in the first minute of overtime to Adam Rogers (Beavercreek, OH). Rogers headed the ball past Colin Robinson for the only goal of the game. The
Case (3-11-2, 1-5 UAA) will close out the season next weekend when they travel to the University of Rochester.
