BRANDEIS 3, CASE 1 ...
CLEVELAND, OH (October 9, 2004) - Brandeis University out shot Case Western Reserve University 21-7 today in Boston as the Spartans lost to the Judges 3-1 in their second University Athletic Association match of the season, Case drops to 2-7-2 (0-2 UAA) on the year and Brandeis improves to 6-5 (1-1 UAA).
The Judges scored the first three goals of the game via Evan Duval at the 5:31, Mike Pio at 19:04, and Charles Goodhue at 37:36. The Spartans finally found the back of the net at the 55:40 mark when freshman midfielder Justin Casella ( Johnstown , PA ) knocked in his team leading third goal of the year.
Case freshman goalkeeper Chad Skidmore ( Centerville , OH ) received the loss in goal making eight saves in just over 80 minutes of work. The Spartans travel to Emory University in Atlanta this Friday.
