CASE 0, MOUNT UNION 0, 2OT...
CLEVELAND, OH (September 29, 2004) - The Case men's soccer team played to a 0-0 tie with Mount Union this evening in Alliance, Ohio.
The Spartans, now 2-4-2 on the season, were outshot 10-6 in the game, but five saves from Chad Skidmore (Centerville, OH) and a friendly post kept the game scoreless. The Purple Raiders had a good chance late in the second overtime but the shot hit the post and the game ended knotted at zero.
The Spartans open up UAA action this Saturday when New York University comes to town for a 1:30 p.m. showdown.
