CASE 2, OBERLIN 2, 2OT...
CLEVELAND, OH (September 22, 2004) - Case and Oberlin played to a 2-2 this evening in front of a packed house at the Oberlin soccer fields. Kiran Bidari (Westlake, OH) and Mark Elliott (Willoughby, OH) scored for the Spartans putting Case was up 2-0 in the second half. Oberlin bounced back and scored the game tying goal with under three minutes to play in regulation to send the game to overtime.
The Yeomen peppered Case goalkeeper Chad Skidmore (Centerville, OH) with 27 shots and created numerous opportunities to win the game in the extra frames. But the Spartan defense held strong and Case moved to a 2-3-1 record on the season.
Case will remain in the Cleveland area for there next game when they take on Baldwin Wallace College for a game under the lights this Saturday, September 25th at 8:00 p.m. Box Score
