CLEVELAND, OH (September 1, 2004) - The Case men's soccer team gave Head Coach Dan Palmer his first win as head boss of the Spartans with a 2-0 win over Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. Freshman Eric Johnson ( Willoughby , OH ) scored his first collegiate goal and the team's first of the year in the 15 th minute off a rebound in front of the Lake Erie goal. Forward Jarrod Predina ( Seven Hills , OH ) followed that up three minutes later on a score in the 18 th minute with an assist from Greg Gasbarro ( Hudson , OH ). Meanwhile, the Spartan defense was steadfast, allowing only seven shots to reach freshman goalkeeper Chad Skidmore ( Centerville , OH ). Case looks to make it two wins in a row as they travel to the University of Rochester Tournament to face Fisher College this Saturday. Box Score
