Dear Soccer Alumni,

 

It is truly an exciting time for the Case soccer program, as we look forward to the unveiling of our beautiful new stadium for soccer and football. This outstanding facility is the centerpiece of the magnificent “Village at 115”, the new $126 million university commitment to undergraduate education.

 

We would like to invite you to be part of the first event to take place at this great facility. The Case soccer program, through the support of the Alumni Association of Case Western Reserve University and the Case Reserve Athletic Club (CRAC), is hosting our first Soccer Alumni Extravaganza.

 

We will have two students vs. alumni games on Saturday, August 27th at the new stadium, which is located on East 115th Street on the north side of campus. The games will be followed by a tailgate, with food and beverages provided to all players and their family and friends. Also, tours of the new facilities will be provided.  

 

The events of the day:  

 

            10:30    Case Varsity Women vs. Alumni

            12:30    Case Varsity Men vs. Alumni

             2:30     Tailgate at the Gatehouse of the Village at 115

 

Tours of the new facilities will take place for the men and their families/ friends during the women’s game and for the women and their families / friends during the men’s game. Please come dressed to play and plan to keep your belongings with you. There will be shower facilities available after the games. Restrooms will be available for all players and spectators. Alumni players receive a Case Soccer t-shirt. The stadium will open at 9:45 a.m.

 

Please plan to be a part of this exciting day. There is no cost for the event, but there may be a parking charge.  Respond to the appropriate coach by August 15th, Emily Donovan for the women at emily.donovan@case.edu or call 1-800- 220-7866.Men respond to Dan Palmer at dmp31@case.edu, or call 1-800-220-7813. When you respond, please indicate the number of people who will be in you party. If you are a soccer alumn and you would like to attend as a spectator, that’s fine, just let us know when you respond.    

 

Enclosed is a map for your convenience. Please enter the parking garage off of East 118th Street (1). Players enter the field at the south end of the stadium (2). The tailgate will take place at the Gatehouse off of East 116th Street (3).

 

We look forward to seeing you, as well as your family and friends, on August 27th. You will be amazed by our new facility.
