CLEVELAND, OH (September 16, 2006) -
The Case Western Reserve University men’s cross country team finished second this afternoon at the PSU Behrend Invitational in Erie, PA. The Spartans will travel to the College of Wooster Invitational next Saturday (Sept. 23). Case had 41 points as Mount Union College won it with 21.
Case had four runners place in the top ten led by sophomore Dominic Smith’s (New Richmond, OH-pictured) third place finish (26:42.90). Sophomore Mike Petro (Cincinnati, OH) finished sixth (27:16.05), sophomore Ryan Gjoraas (Plymouth, MN) seventh (27:17.85) and freshman Austin Schmidt (Lexington, OH) tenth (27:34.55).
