CLEVELAND, OH (September 2, 2006) -
Case Western Reserve University graduate student Stephen Hrinda (Fairview, PA) - pictured and sophomore Dominic Smith (New Richmond, OH) finished in the top ten individually today as the Spartans finished fourth as a team at the Bill Sudeck Classic (8K) with 78 points. Mount Union College won the men’s team title with 50.
Hrinda placed third with a time of 26:12.00 and Smith eighth with a time of 26:48.70. Sophomore Ryan Gjoraas (Plymouth, MN) placed 15th overall with a time of 27:13.90 to round out Case’s top 20 finishers.
The Spartans travel to the Penn State Behrend Invitational Saturday, September 16.
