MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY—2005


DELAWARE, OH (October 7, 2005) - The Case Western Reserve University men's cross country team traveled to Ohio Wesleyan University today to run in the 2005 All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships. The Spartans finished fifth out of 20 teams with 127 points. Otterbein College won the men's Division III race with a score of 74.

Case had two top ten individual finishes. Senior Stephen Hrinda (Fairview, PA) placed second with a time of 26:16.5 and freshman Dominic Smith (New Richmond, OH) finished sixth with a time of 27:03.0. For Hrinda, it was his third second place finish in four tries this year. He won the remaining race, the PSU Behrend Invitational, with a time of 25:44.

The Spartans will host a tri-meet next Saturday with Hiram College, John Carroll University and Notre Dame College.
