MEN FOURTH AT OTTERBEIN INVITATIONAL...
WESTERVILLE, OH (September 24, 2005) - Case freshman Domnic Smith (New Richmond, OH) finished sixth overall in a time of 26:56 to lead the Spartans to a fourth place team finish at the Otterbein Invitational. The Spartans finished the day with 107 points, while Ashland University won the meet with 32 points.
Also running well and contributing to the scoring for Case was Jon Youngquist (Midland, MI) who came in 22nd overall in a time of 28:07. Mike Petro (Cincinnati, OH) was in 28th in 28:25 and Ryan Gjoraas (Plymouth, MI) was 31st in a time of 28:36 for the Spartans.
The Spartans will head to Chicago next weekend for the Loyola Inivitational.
