JOHNSTON-PECK FINISHES SEVENTH IN THE NATION ...
CLEVELAND, OH (November 20, 2004) - Aaron Johnston-Peck (Lakewood, OH) became an All-American this afternoon with a seventh place finish at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships held at Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The sophomore runner completed the 8K course in a time of 24:49.5, which was just 20.8 seconds behind the winner of the race, senior Josh Moen from Wartburg College . Johnston-Peck was the top underclassmen finisher with the rest of the top ten comprised of seniors and juniors. Last year, as a freshman, he finished 55th at the NCAA Division III Championship meet.
The final race of the season completes Johnston-Peck's fantastic season with the best possibly still to come. In every meet this year, outside the National Championship meet, Johnston Peck finished either first or second overall. Stay tuned for 2005.
