NCAA GREAT LAKES REGIONAL MEET ...
CLEVELAND, OH (November 13, 2004) - Aaron Johnston-Peck (Lakewood, OH) took home a second place finish at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional meet held today at Alma College in Alma Michigan. After taking first place in the UAA Championships two weeks ago, Johnston-Peck can now add a Regional second place finish to his resume.
Johnston-Peck completed the course in 24:20, just 18 seconds behind the first place finisher Mike Sawicki from Otterbein College. His second place finish ensures Johnston-Peck a spot in the NCAA Championship meet held next Saturday, November 20th at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
As a team, the Spartans took home 11th place overall. Other top finishers for Case were Jeff McManus (Columbus, OH) in 52nd place with a time of 26:04 and Jason Dudas (Solon, OH) in 71st place in 26:32.
