JOHNSTON-PECK TAKES 1ST AT UAA CHAMPIONSHIPS...
CLEVELAND, OH (October 30, 2004) - Aaron Johnston-Peck (Lakewood, OH) was spectacular as he finished in first place at this morning's UAA Cross Country Championships in Rochester, NY.
Johnston-Peck completed the 8K course in 26:09, nine seconds better than the second place finisher. As a team, Case came in seventh out of the eight team meet.
Other top finishers for the Spartans were Jeff McManus (Columbus, OH) in 41st in a time of 28:09 and Aaron Tainter (Portland, OR) who finished 47th with a time of 28:35. Jason Dudas came in 50th as he ran the course in 28:38.
In two weeks, the Case team will head to Michigan for the NCAA Regional meet held at Alma College on Saturday, November 13th.
