JOHNSTON-PECK TAKES 1ST PLACE ...
CLEVELAND, OH (October 16, 2004) - Aaron Johnston-Peck (Lakewood, OH) finished first overall in the University of Rochester Invitational and led the way for Case's 6th place team finish.
Johnston-Peck had the top time in the meet as he completed the eight kilometer course in 25:54. The next two finishers for Case were Jeff McManus (Columbus, OH) in 25th with a time of 27:27 and Jeff Hannon (Sugarcreek, OH) who came in 49th with a time of 28:27. As a team, the Spartans combined for 155 points while Lock Haven University was the top team finisher with 48 points.
Case has next weekend off from competition but will return to Rochester in two weeks on October 30th for the UAA Cross Country Championship meet beginning at 11:00 a.m.
