4th Place Finish At Sudeck Classic...
CLEVELAND, OH (September 4, 2004) - The Case men's cross country team co-hosted the 4 th Bill Sudeck Classic this afternoon with the women at Squire Valleevue Farm in Hunting Valley . The Spartans finished fourth out of eight teams with 34 points. Baldwin Wallace College won the event with a score of 29. Case had won the previous two Sudeck Classics.
Finishing ahead of the pack for the Spartans was sophomore Aaron Johnston-Peck ( Lakewood , OH ), who placed second overall with a time of 26:34.00 (out of 99 runners). Allegheny College 's Kevin pool won it with a time of 26:12.00.
Other top finishers for Case included senior Jeff McManus ( Columbus , OH ) and graduate student Aaron Tainter ( Portland , OR ). McManus finished 12 th overall with a time of 27:59.00 and Tainter 22 nd at 28:37.00.
The Spartans have this weekend off and then travel to the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Invitational September 18 at 11:00 a.m. Meet Results
