DAVE STUCZYNSKI (football), case western reserve university - 1985

Dave Stuczynski played tight end/wide receiver on the Case Western Reserve University football team during the mid 1980s, one of the best gridiron eras in school history.nice

Stuczynski was an Associated Press (AP) All-American his junior year and an AP and Pizza Hut All-American his senior season. During the four-year letter winner’s tenure on the playing field (1982-85), the Spartans compiled a 29-6 record, including the school’s first perfect season during the modern era (1984). The team finished 9-0 that year and won the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) championship. Stuczynski was an All-NCAC selection both his junior and senior campaigns and, when he graduated, held two school records — career receiving yards (1,929) and single-game touchdowns (3). He also averaged 20 yards per reception in college and was named Case Western Reserve’s MVP by the highly regarded Cleveland Touchdown Club his final season. Despite graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering, Stuczynski has spent his entire professional career in finance as a capital markets’ specialist with multiple firms.
