PELYAK READY FOR NCAA POSTSEASON...
When senior defensive back Mike Pelyak walks off Case Field after this Saturday’s NCAA Division III first-round playoff game, he will either begin preparing for round two or the biology (Pre-Med) major will begin preparing for life after football. He would prefer the former.
LOCAL COACH LEADS CASE INTO CLEVELAND NATIONALS...
When moving up the ranks of college athletics, more often than not coaches are forced to leave their hometown. Case Western Reserve University’s Kathy Lanese has never been forced to do that as part of three college head cross country coaching positions over the last 15 years.
ERCE BACK AT CASE AND AT THE POINT GUARD POSITION...
Bryan Erce was heavily recruited by Case Western Reserve Head Men’s Basketball Coach Sean McDonnell while at Morton West High School near Chicago, but Erce wanted to get out of the Midwest and experience the South.

For the third straight November, the Case Western Reserve University football team will be playing in the NCAA Division III postseason. The No. 7/9-ranked Spartans will return to Case Field this Saturday, November 21 to face Trine University at 12:00 p.m.
