Ms. Regnier has been acting professionally for twenty years
both locally and regionally. A founding member of the award winning Cleveland
Signstage Theatre, she has performed with the Great
Lakes Theatre Festival, the Cleveland
Play House, the Indiana Repertory
Theatre and made her New York debut at the age of sixteen at Lincoln
Center.
A graduate of Capital University with a degree in Theatre/Communications, she
has studied primarily the techniques of Stanislavski.
She has completed an intensive study with the Moscow
Art Theatre at A.R.T./Harvard and uses the techniques taught today by
the MXAT as her guidelines for conducting acting classes. Like her MXAT mentors,
she emphasizes and stresses the concepts of action, ensemble, and communion
and how those techniques bring truth to the work.
In addition to CWRU, she has taught at area theatres such as
the Cleveland Play
House, the Dobama Theatre,
the Cleveland Public
Theatre and conducts master classes in the MXAT system for
professional actors.
A professional singer as well, she has performed her "Shades
of Blue" Cabaret and is in the process of developing another due
to debut in the Fall of 2001. |
