Program requirements and application process |
|
- RIBMS participants must major in a biological or mathematical
science in a department which is devoted to basic science, not medical
or engineering aims. For example, students majoring in Mathematics, Statistics, Biology, Systems
Biology, or Biochemistry are
eligible, while students majoring in Nutrition or Biomedical
Engineering are not.
- The most competitive applicants will have completed the following
coursework by the end of fall semester:
- Two semesters of Biology at Case
- Either four semesters of calculus (MATH 121, 122, 223, 224) or
three semesters of calculus (MATH 121, 122, 223) and one biological
dynamics class (BIOL 300 or BIOL 306)
