GSU Phi Sigma Tau Philosophical Society-Undergraduate Philosophy Conference at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. April 11-12, 2014

Conference Topic: Philosophy in Literature and Film

Please contact Danielle Layne with questions.

Online Philosophy Conference is a collaboration between the Philosophy Department at UMass-Dartmouth, the Jackson Family Center for Ethics and Values at Coastal Carolina University, and Philosophy TV

The theme of the conference is Meaning--broadly construed. The intent is to be a very inclusive theme. We will accept papers on a wide range of topics connected with meaning, in a wide range of subfields, including philosophy of language, mind, logic, continental philosophy, social/political philosophy, and value theory.

The deadline is January 15, 2014. In many cases, we expect, term papers that students write for philosophy courses this semester will be usable as submissions for our conference.

Call for Submissions

Stance: An International Undergraduate Philosophy Journal is produced and edited entirely by undergraduate students. We aim to enrich student learning by providing an opportunity for undergraduate students to have their original scholarly work reviewed by or published in a peer-reviewed academicjournal.

Episteme is a student-run journal that aims to recognize and encourage excellence in undergraduate philosophy by providing examples of some of the best work currently being done in undergraduate philosophy programs. Episteme is published under the auspices of Denison University's Department of Philosophy. We publish a journal in print each Spring.

Discussions is an undergraduate run, peer-reviewed research journal that publishes undergraduate research in all fields of study. Discussions is currently accepting submissions for our Spring 2014 publication.
