Welcome to the undergraduate math colloquium! This seminar series is here to engage students in the fun and quirky world of mathematics. The talks are designed to be accessible by students who have taken the calculus series, so come on over even if you haven't taken very many upper division classes yet. Mostly, we're here to give you a taste of what it's like to do mathematical exploration. If you are interested in speaking, would like to hear a particular professor, or have a suggestion for a discussion topic, please contact Alethea Barbaro or Mark Meckes.
The colloquium takes place on Wednesday afternoons in Yost 306 (formerly known as Yost 300), approximately every other week (with deviations as necessary). The talks are 4–5 pm. There will be time for some snacks and informal conversation with the speaker beforehand, starting at 3:30, so come on by!
