"Elliptic Curve Cryptography's Implementation into RF Communication"
Date: Thursday, March 7, 2013
Time: 4:00 p.m.
Location: CWRU Department of Mathematics Yost Hall - Room 101

ABSTRACT

The use of public key cryptosystems has been an ever expanding
field since the release of RSA in 1977. These cryptosystems have the
potential to greatly increase the realm of secure communications.
One that has shown significant progress has been Elliptic Curve
Cryptography (ECC). Even though it has been used and trusted by
government organizations, it has yet to be implemented in Radio
Frequency (RF) communication. We explore different forms of elliptic
curves, in an endeavor to make ECC a practical option for military
and government entities.
