You can access Mathematica from the CWRU Software Center. Using the software center is fairly self-explanatory (follow the link above).
Trouble with fonts
A number of people on campus have reported trouble with fonts not appearing properly in Mathematica. A list of things to try to fix this on Windows systems can be found on Wolfram Inc.'s web site. Similar instructions for Macintosh users are also available.
