I am scheduled to teach Math 461 - Topology - in Fall 2009. As a textbook we will use Introduction to Topology by T.W. Gamelin and R.E. Greene, published by Dover. It is required. Another inexpensive text which you may want to refer to is Topology, by J G. Hocking and G.S. Young, also published by Dover. It is not required. The class will meet MWF from 11:30 to 12:20, in White 324. Further information can be found in the preliminary syllabus, linked to below.
