Reserving Baker-Nord Seminar Room,
Clark Hall 206
The Baker-Nord Seminar Room, Clark Hall 206, is available to departments and members of the College of Arts and Sciences for special events and programs. The Baker-Nord Center reserves the right to have first option on the seminar room at all times.
The seminar room is not available for regularly or occasionally scheduled classes, review sessions, examinations, advising sessions, or other instructional-related activities, with the exception of the special semester-long Baker-Nord Seminar held in the Fall.
At the time of a reservation request, we will need to know the date and time of event, length of time needed for room set-up and clean-up, number of people expected to attend, and an University speedtype (account number) for the reservation. There is no charge for the room, however, an account number is required for security purposes. The party reserving the room is responsible for room set-up and clean-up and for returning the room to its original condition, with seminar table and chairs located down the center of the room, lights out, and windows and doors closed.
For any events that are not coordinated by the Interdisciplinary Programs Office, parties are responsible for all logistic arrangements for their event including ordering A-V equipment and catering. The Interdisciplinary Programs Office will make arrangements with Security to have the building open for events that occur after normal business hours.
